For this tutorial you will need to have basic knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. (My illustrations and instructions are written using version 7, but you should be able to comprehend with any version).

SAVE YOUR WORK OFTEN!

Open up 2 - 100 X 100 pixel Transparent Canvases (1 for each side of the bunny).
***Note: When talking about the left or right side, I will be referring to the left or right sides of the picture (not necessarily the bunny's left or right side).

Colors we will be using for this tutorial:
Bunny Outlines - #D3B7AD
Nose - #7B5A4F
Eyes - Black (#000000) and White (#FFFFFF)
Blush and Inside ears - #FFC0C0
*Tail outline - Light Gray (#C0C0C0)
Mouth - Red (#800000)
Fill - White (#FFFFFF)

Bunny FRONT

Left ear top - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside left ear top. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical -1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 10, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Right ear top - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside right ear top. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical -1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 10, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Left Inner ear - Activate your Magic wand. While pressing down your Shift key, click inside ALL the areas inside the left inner ear. Flood Fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal 1, Opacity 100%, Blur 3.8, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. DO NOT DESELECT!! Add New Raster layer. (Make sure this layer is active). With your paint brush, fill inside just the inner ear (not the small outer edge) with a light peach (#FFC0C0), but leave a small border of exposed ear around the edge. Click on Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius 2.0 Deselect. Merge, Merge Visible.

Right Inner ear - Activate your Magic wand. While pressing down your Shift key, click inside ALL the areas inside the right inner ear. Flood Fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 3.8, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. DO NOT DESELECT!! Add New Raster layer. (Make sure this layer is active). With your paint brush, fill inside just the inner ear (not the small outer edge) with a light peach (#FFC0C0), but leave a small border of exposed ear around the edge. Click on Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius 2.0 Deselect. Merge, Merge Visible.

Face - Activate your Magic wand. While pressing down your Shift key, click inside Face and the two areas around each eye. Flood Fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical -1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 10, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Left Cheek - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside left cheek area. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 7.5, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. DO NOT DESELECT!! Add New Raster layer. (Make sure this layer is active). With your paint brush set at size 5 Round, click one large dot inside cheek with a light peach (#FFC0C0). Click on Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius 1.5 Deselect. Merge, Merge Visible.

Right Cheek - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside right cheek area. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal 1, Opacity 100%, Blur 7.5, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. DO NOT DESELECT!! Add New Raster layer. (Make sure this layer is active). With your paint brush set at size 5 Round, click one large dot inside cheek with a light peach (#FFC0C0). Click on Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius 1.5 Deselect. Merge, Merge Visible.

Lower Lip - Activate your Magic wand. While pressing down your Shift key, click inside ALL the areas inside lower lip. Flood Fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 0, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 2.5, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Body - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside body area. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 20, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Left Leg - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside left leg. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 15, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Right Leg - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside right leg. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal 1, Opacity 100%, Blur 15, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Nose - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside of nose. Flood fill with same color as nose outline (#7B5A4F). Deselect. Now activate your Magic wand again. Click inside of nose again. Now Add New Raster Layer. With your paint brush set back to size 1, click in the very center of nose with the color White (#FFFFFF). Click Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius .75 Deselect. Merge, Merge Visible.

Bunny BACK

Left ear top - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside left ear top. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical -1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 10, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Right ear top - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside right ear top. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical -1, Horizontal 0, Opacity 100%, Blur 10, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

Left Leg - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside left leg. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:

Right Leg - Activate your Magic wand. Click inside right leg. Flood fill with White (#FFFFFF). Click on Selections, then click "Float". Then click on Effects, then click on 3D Effects, then click on "Cutouts" using these settings:
Vertical 1, Horizontal 1, Opacity 100%, Blur 15, Shadow Color #D3B7AD, Fill Interior with color box UNCHECKED. Deselect.

*Tail - Add New Raster Layer. Make sure that layer is active. With your paint brush, make a NEW outline with White (#FFFFFF) on top of your gray outline. Activate your Magic Wand and Flood Fill with White (#FFFFFF). Deselect. Click Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, Radius .5 Merge, Merge Visible.

To save your graphic with a transparent background, click Edit, then click on Copy. Open up your Animation Shop. Click Edit, then click on Paste....as a new animation. Save as a gif from there and you're finished!
